Historic Woodlark, Cornelius buildings in downtown Portland to be turned into hotel

A group of investors plan to turn a pair of historic downtown Portland buildings — including one previously headed for demolition — into a single new hotel.

The renovation will connect the Woodlark and Cornelius buildings, which share half a city block. Both of the buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
