NBP Capital, LLC entered into a joint venture agreement with Berggruen Properties, a subsidiary of Berggruen Holdings, in 2009.  Headquartered in Downtown Los Angeles, Berggruen Properties acts as a passive capital partner in NBP Capital LLC with 70% equity ownership in the fund (30% is held by the Noecker family).  Berggruen Properties and the Managing Members of NBP Capital share a similar investment strategy; invest in value-add & ground-up commercial real estate on the West Coast, taking a long-term investment horizon.  Berggruen Holdings has net equity in excess of 2 billion dollars and uses propriety capital which allows for flexibility and quick decision making.
